Brooklyn Love: Part I

STRATA Table Lamp from Re-Surface

I cannot think of any person better to kick off Brooklyn Day than Donna Brady, owner and founder of the boutique factory and design studio, Re-Surface, which is based in Brooklyn. According to the website, Re-Surface produces a range of hand-crafted lighting and interior decor objects with art at heart, and design in mind.

1. A-Light/ North 6th from Re-Surface 2. D-Light Pillar Candles from Re-Surfcae 3. A-Light/ Dekalb from Re-Surface 4. A-Light/ Grand from Re-Surface

The above images are all from the Brooklyn Light Siding Collection, which is inspired by the city’s dilapidated building facades and the Japanese aesthetic. What I love most about Re-surface is the unexpected quality that each piece has, like a functional work of art. These lamps would add flavor to even the most dreary of rooms. Check out the Re-Surface shop here or website here.
